Cincinnati Zoo Cincinnati Zoo I love to visit Zoo’s while traveling. They are full of life and locals who love their job. The Cincinnati Zoo is a great place to spend a day if you are in the area. The Zoo has lots of animals to view and lots of employees who are friendly and take time to speak with you about the animal. The Cincinnati isn’t your stand small city zoo but is large and has animals form all over the world both large and small. Explore each corner of the globe as you travel from the artic water to watch polar bears swim and interact with you underwater to the hot planes of Africa. Some of the most popular exhibits at the Zoo are the Giraffe Ridge, Elephant Reserve, Gorilla World, and the Cat Canyon. The Cat Canyon is a newer exhibit and was really busy when I went. It was filled with many different cats too many to count it included big cats like white tigers, snow leapards, cheetah,s and the African lion. The small cats weren’t left out there was a section of Ocelots and Sand Cats. Each and every one was beauty and had that regal beauty health happy cats hang about themselves. The zoo is open daily and tickets range in price from $15 to $25 bucks depending on what you want to do.

American Sign Musuem American Sign Musuem -- Imagine a warehouse lighting entirely by neon. What would it be? The answer is the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati. This one of a kind museum is exactly what the name says, a museum for American signs. The collection consists of signage varying in age from the 1870s to the 1970s. There are signs that would have been seen along the classic route 66. Lighting the way for travelers encouraging them to stop in and buy the many wonderful goods they had for sale. Today the signs adore walls, ceilings, and even some signs get piece of floor to sit on in this classic museum. Its great for all friends and family alike. Kids love it because the signs are bright and colorful. (just don’t let them touch because if you break it you buy it) adults like it because the signs remind them of a time before. In some cases a time that is no longer around and a time that uses to be special. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 12-4 and admission is just $15 bucks for adults, 10 for seniors, students, military, and large groups. I highly recommend the Sign Musuem to anyone who logs neon and wants to see how the city looked between 1870s and 1970s.
