    Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary
Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary Jacksonville Florida is home to the Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary. It’s a place that takes in big cats and gives them a place to heal and live good life. This is one of my favorite places to visit when I have some extra time and can bring my kids. The sanctuary currently holds over 40 cats its home for tigers, lions, leopards, bobcats, arctic foxes, lions, and coatimundis. The best way to visit the sanctuary is with one of the guided tours. They run during the day and you get to meet some of the staff that interacts with the cats on a regular basis. They are knowledgably and can make sure you have a good time at the sanctuary. There are two different tours daytime, and night feedings. The night tours run 15 bucks for adults 10 for kids and are great. Most of the cats get fed at night and they love the play as well see them run and jump together much like house cats do but they are about 10 times their size. The Catty Shack Ranch is one of Jacksonville real treats and it should be enjoyed by anyone who is passing by or call Jacksonville home.

Cummer Museum of Art and Garden
Cummer Museum of Art and Garden The Cummer Museum of Art and Garden is a beautiful place to visit. The museum has some of the finest art you put your eyes on and the gardens outside is something of wonder. The museum has some 5 thousand pieces of art that range in history from 2100 B.C. It is the largest collection in north Florida and one of the most well respected museums in in the states. In fact it is one of the top 3 museums in the country. Once you are done enjoying the art which may take some time the garden outside is over 1.5 acres of history gardens. The garden is built around a huge oak tree which is nearly 200 years old. The oak tree looks like the tree of life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Its limps cover a large 150 feet. You can stand under the tree and look up at how it is home to birds and other types of animals. The tree has been surveyed and is one of the oldest trees in Jacksonville so old that the garden has put on the national register of historic places. Admission to the museum is just 10 bucks for adults, 6 for seniors, and 6 for students.
