    K1 Speed Indoor Karting
K1 Speed Indoor Karting When traveling in a car temper can run how and blowing off that steam is a big deal. While driving through Ontario California my family spotted K1 Speed Indoor kart racing. With the way things were going in the car I couldn’t let the opportunity pass to get out and have some fun. On top of that my kid were saying I was a bad driver so this gave them an opportunity to see if they could driver better then me. From the moment we stepped into the doors I could tell we were going to have a good time. K1 wasn’t like all the other Go kart places we have been to. Most are just part of a larger fun complex that has Mini Golf and the like. At K1 the kart racing is center stage and it is really evident. The building was clean and the tracks all maintained. The Go Karts are state of the art and electric. This is import because it makes for a quitter ride. Electric engines are stronger than a gas engine of similar size so it gives you more power to go faster around the course. There are 2 tracks to enjoy and if you visit on a Monday they are combined into one single huge track. Both are fun and you won’t want to stop. It was relaxing and a great way to spend a few hours out of the car.

    Scandia Scandia
Locals of Ontario will point you to one place if you want to show your family a good time. Scandia is a local attraction hotspot that is great fun for the whole family. There is lots to do but it doesn’t come with the big theme park price tag. The carnival style rides are a big pull to Scandia there are many classics like the swinging ship or the tilt-a-whirl . Those rides are great but the big main attraction is the large rollercoaster. It has tight turns and drops that will bring make it feel like your stomach is in your throat. Its lots of fun and a coaster that I could ride over and over again. There are other attractions that are a little bit more hands on like the cliff climber, batting cages, go-karts, and mini golf. The batting cages might be my favorite part of the park. There isn’t really much that’s more satisfying then swings a bat. Pricing is per attraction unless you want to an Unlimited VIP pass. The VIP pass is good for all the rides and is just 25 bucks, for small kids under 48 inches a discounted ticket is viable for 18. If you don’t want to spend the whole day at the park don’t worry you can buy a ride ticket which is $1.25 or get 25 tickets for $24.95. Golf is included in the CIP pass but if you don’t want to pay for everything you can play golf over and over again for $12 for adults or $8 for kids.
