Buffalo City Hall
The towering City Hall is an art deco masterpiece, decorated with
figures and symbols portraying the history and spirit of the city.
African American Cultural Center
This center houses the Paul Robeson Theater and the Kakilambi African
Dance and Drum Troupe and the African World Studies Archives. In
existence since 1958 and the first cultural center in Buffalo, the
facility also features classes in drama, dance, percussion, African
history, reading and math, and arts and crafts for both adults and
children.
Pierce-Arrow Museum
This unique museum tracing Buffalo's transportation history through
extensive holdings that include the Pierce Arrow , Thomas Flyer and a
variety of locally made bicycles, motorcycles and trucks.
Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin D Martin House
Frank Lloyd Wright's House is a five-structure complex designed and
built from 1903 to 1905. The 362 art glass windows, along with the
horizontal lines and sharp angles, are pleasing to look at and observe.
Wilcox Mansion - Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural
National Historic Site
Theodore Roosevelt was inaugurated as President of the United States
at the Wilcox Mansion, in 1901, after the assassination of President
William McKinley. Exhibits focus on the assassination and inauguration,
details of Roosevelt's life and turn-of-the-century America.
Shea's Performing Art Center
Since its opening in January 1926, the facility attracts some 300,000
patrons annually with its eclectic combination of Broadway musicals,
opera, dance, children's programming, concerts and classic movies
Buffalo Museum of Science
The Buffalo Museum of Science features everything from anthropology
to zoology, focusing on the Great Niagara Region. There's something to
fascinate every generation from toddlers to grandparents. The only
Tibetan sand mandala in North America is here.
Buffalo Zoological Gardens
The Buffalo Zoological Gardens is the third-oldest zoo in the U.S.,
it features over 1000 animals from throughout the world in natural
settings, plus more than 300 species of plants.
HSBC Arena
The HSBC Arena is located on the waterfront in downtown Buffalo. The
20,000-seat state-of-the-art entertainment complex is the scene for
major music concerts, soccer, lacrosse and football games. Built in
1996, the arena includes an eight-sided Jumbotron, and restaurants, and
the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame.
Allentown
Allentown has become a magnet in recent years for art galleries and
restaurants.

Studios Arena Theatre
In existence since 1927 when it originally started as the Studio
Theatre School. Today, with 250 productions and 40 premieres under its
belt, it's recognized as one of the top resident theaters in the
country.
Albright-Knox Art Gallery
Albright- Knox Art Gallery is considered among the best in the world
when it comes to modern and contemporary 20th century art, this gallery
has a great selection of works by artists like Picasso, van Gogh, and
Jackson Pollock.
Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens
These gardens - filled with flowers, plants, herbs and cacti from
around the world - are housed inside an 1890s Victorian glass-domed
greenhouse. The site, designed by New York Central Park creator
Frederick Law Olmstead, is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places.
Guaranty Building
This building was the design of famous American architect Louis
Sullivan, and opened in 1895. The terra-cotta facade is very ornate,
featuring geometric designs as well as foliage. Inside, the original
lobby skylights and tile mosaics remain intact.
Lafayette Square
Lafaytte Square is a popular retreat for tourists, this downtown
Buffalo park has tree-shaded places to sit, flowers and criss-crossing
paths, the two-story Civil War Soldiers and Sailors Monument built in
1882 and, it also features Thursday night concert.
Tifft Nature Preserve
This environmental education and conservation site bordering Lake
Erie offers hiking trails, boardwalks and a cattail marsh that is great
for bird-watching. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are popular in
winter.
Dunn Tire Park
Dunn Tire Park is the home field of the Cleveland Indians' Triple-A
team, the Buffalo Bisons.
Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park
This waterfront museum, salutes all branches of the United States
armed forces, with special emphasis on Western New York veterans.
Visitors can tour a World War II submarine, destroyer, and guided
missile cruiser. There are military artifacts such as tanks, aircraft
and memorabilia.
Buffalo Fire Historical Museum
For decades, equipment used by firefighters from the early 1800s lay
rusting away in musty rooms. So this fire historical museum was born.
Included is an 1831 hand pumper, an 1893 parade carriage, and an early
20th-century street-corner fire alarm.
