Now usually my in-laws are the last people on the list of people I’d like to hang around with in my spare time, however my new brother in law is quite the character. He has one of the most unique jobs I’ve ever heard of and I assume it’s probably among the most fun jobs that exist! His job is to create rides for theme parks – mainly focusing on water rides, technically he’s an engineer however engineer doesn’t sound as fun as “Water Ride Creator”. For his job he wanted to travel around and take a look at some small scale water parks so he could be able to see some unique and old fashioned design to inspire him for his next big project. A very small scale watermark that he was very interested in going to was Noah’s Ark Watermark in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin and since time for me to rent a car was long overdue I decided it would be a great idea to take a road trip all the way to Wisconsin. I’ve been on plenty of road trips in my day and an estimated drive time of 20 hours has never been a problem to me,

in fact I’ve drove probably 3 times that a few months ago on my journey around the continental United States. However since this trip had to be cut short due to work obligations we had to get there in as little time as possible and since we would be doing more driving than stopping it was critical that we chose a comfortable car. A nice full size premium car that had all the comfort options we could ask for was the 2009 Nissan Maxima, boy was this thing nice we were so happy that Alamo could provide us with a car that catered to every one of our needs. My brother in law drives the previous model of this car and loves it; I could only imagine how he felt 4 hours into the trip when I let him drive! We started off our trip in Orlando as usual and we planned our route to go through Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana and finally arriving in Wisconsin. I’ve been to the states that we’ve passed through about a million times each; however my brother in law on the other hand has never been to any! I could only imagine his temptation to just stop and explore like I usually tend to do, but since he is a man of strong work ethic he made it his job to fight

temptation and get to Wisconsin in as little time as possible. The twenty continuous hours we spent driving was pretty intense it was a good thing we switched often and we each got to sleep for a little. We got a room at a little motel off the side of the highway and stayed for the night, the next morning we woke up and went to Noah’s Ark Water park where we got to act like little kids and get the job done. After our day of a splashin’ good time we departed back to Florida. The great thing about leaving at the time we did is that we were doing great on time, we were able to stop in Kentucky and Tennessee on the way back and we were able to enjoy almost everything these states had to offer, over all it was a great trip and I wouldn’t mind doing it again!
