Super Bowl Game Day
Now as every single person in America knows the big game day is coming up and my team is going to win. It’s just a fact; the Colts are the best team to grace the earth, who could possibly stand in their way? Well I had to sacrifice my season tickets to buy Super Bowl tickets, on account that my wife would have it no other way. It was a minor set back for my fan ego, but now that this momentous occasion is coming I am quickly beginning to enjoy my decision. We decided that we would stay in a local hotel and booked literally months in advance, and decided we would go down a few days early and check out the attractions that are going around. What I am trying to say is that it’s always fun to see what some crazy fan has going and maybe even participate in it. While we didn’t break out the barbeque in a parking lot and invite everyone over for some beer we did enjoy some of the large stands around the stadium.
They are selling every piece of memorabilia known to man under closed trailers. The funny thing is that we talked with some of the sales men and they said “if” they haven’t sold all their merchandise and their team loses, all the items will go down by nearly 50% in value. Apparently field side team uniforms and team products that have the year on them and the special “Super Bowl” sticker are worth outrages prices years down the road to collectors, as long as the team wins. We plan to go back and buy some things if our team loses… and probably if they win to.
It looks like its going to be a fun weekend, the games coming up, we got a few autographs and the fans here are absolutely crazy. The streets are packed, so if your not here, it’s going to take you a week just to drive to the stadium. Watch the television; you just might see me, now I’m not wearing a wig or painting myself, but you can bet that I’ll be screaming at the top of my lungs for my team.
