Mall of America in Bloomington!
You all know us, we have made a habit of posting on this blog roughly once a week and over the last year we have hit just about every single National Park in the United States. Well it turns out on the way back from visiting some family my wife realized how close we would be to the Mall of America on the way back to Florida. So clutching my wallet very tightly we ended up heading in that direction.
When we pulled off the highway we could see the massive sign that is usually the one advertised for mall. In the process of looking for a parking spot near an entrance we truly got a good grasp of how big the mall was. We drove around four separate stores just to find an entrance, then finding a parking spot was killer with the amount of people that were here.
As soon as I walked through the door I could tell what I was in for, the ceiling was closely fallowed by a rollercoaster, no joke at a full size rollercoaster with screaming kids flying by. When I turned around to point it out to my wife she was already gone! I turned even further to see her disappearing into some jewelry store. Instinct took a hold of me and I clutched my wallet even tighter.
The Mall of America is massive; I mean just about everywhere you look there is rides and attractions, it mine as well be a full sized amusement park in there. Of course followed closely behind these rides are some three hundred different stores, some the size of your local super Wal-Mart others just small little vendors. Either way, it would take a whole week just too lightly browse through this mall.
Husbands beware, this place is great, but if your significant other grabs your little card that gets them whatever they want… bring a truck.
