Hoover Dam
Get away for an heart-throbbing tour of the Hoover Dam, one of largest dams in
the United States. Unbenounced to most people, the dam was built exactly on the
state line between Nevada and Arizona. Tours begin with a narrated show of the
history of the dam which was constructed in 1930's in less than 6 years.
Approximately three to five thousand people were involved in the dam's
construction and the need to build Boulder City. Upon completion of
the slide show, visitors are guided to a lift shaft that provided access to the
main generators and exhibits. Additional exhibits include memorial of the
republic, bronze statues, and the observatory of the Colorado River.

Canyon out of 4,000 feet of rock for 277 miles. Almost fifteen miles wide at
one point, some athletic people enjoy hiking down to the river in the
canyon and back up in one day. Shuttle trips are available daily to
different parts of the Canyon as well as shops and restaurants.
