• Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
  This renowned combination zoo of natural history and botanical gardens reflects the diverse flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert. Be prepared to see coyotes, bears and mountain lions in their natural settings. The museum also offers aviaries which include one for hummingbirds, and the other for varied desert birds.

• Mission San Xavier del Bac
  Something about this place is very special. It has truly touched many and taken the breath away from others. Built in the 1700s, this recently restored white church, representing a wonderful example of Spanish colonial architecture, is beautiful inside and out. With wooden pews filling the center of this most ornately decorated church, it has been described by some as the "Sistine Chapel of the New World." Overall, this church is a wonderful experience. It doesn't take long either so it would be an easy addition to your next Tucson vacation.

• Old Tucson Studios
  Come visit this mock Western town and learn how Western films are made. Built originally as the set for the 1939 movie Arizona, it later turned out being used to film over 70 movies! However, that's not the only thing to do here. The site is also a theme park with staged street shootouts, rides, and live entertainment. And when you get hungry, feel free to grab a bite at one of the restaurants here in this unique town.

• Pima Air & Space Museum
  This museum is exclusively dedicated to the history of flight and is home to one of the largest aircraft collections in the world. Some of which include World War II combat planes, experimental aircrafts, a B-17 "Flying Fortress" and enough other military and commercial aircraft to fascinate any aviation buff. Be sure to also chat up the volunteers at the various exhibits. Many were pilots or had some association with the exhibits and are more than happy to share the history and wonderful stories!

• Sabino Canyon
  Located in the Catalina Mountains and part of the Coronado National Forest, this canyon is the epitome of beauty. Not only is there awesome views, but you could watch them doing outdoor recreations, like hiking, swimming, biking, and picnicking. A beautiful place to see if you are looking to appreciate the beauty of the natural world.

• Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium
  This center allows visitors to learn about the universe through a powerful telescope and through programs in the planetarium. Enhance your experience by stopping by an hour after sunset to view the heavens through a 16-inch cassegrain telescope. Don't worry about being confused or lost because an expert astronomer/telescope operator is always on hand to direct your attention to planets, galaxies, star clusters, or to answer any questions. So come here and see things that are literally, worlds away!

• Starr Pass Golf Club
  The best thing about the golf at Starr Pass is that it's a true Sonoran desert golf experience. • Kitt Peak National Optical Astronomy Observatory
  Located high above Kitt Peak is the working research station observatory. It is this observatory which supports the most diverse collection of astronomical observatories on Earth for nighttime optical and infared astronomy and daytime study of the Sun. The world's largest collection of optical telescopes is located here. So come here and enjoy the lovely views of the night sky, as well as Kitt Peak.

• Arizona National Golf Club
  This course, located at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains, is known for its views, beauty, challenging design, and the high quality customer service.
