Good’s Candy Shop is for children of all ages. It’s a family owned business and all candies are made from scratch in house with homemade recipes. Good’s has 5 generations of family history and was originated in Indiana in the 1940’s. They have an enormous assortment of chocolates but if you aren’t a chocolate lover you are sure to fall in love with their homemade ice cream or their private blend of coffee. It’s located at 1423 West 53rd and is open seven days a week. The store opens Monday thru Saturday from 10am to 9pm and Sunday from 1pm to 9pm. They have hundreds of different kinds of candies but some of my favorites are the chocolates that are molded into just about everything from tractors to mini grand pianos, they also have little while dove chocolates that would be perfect for a wedding. Another one of my favorites are their milk chocolate covered cherries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. The best thing about Good’s is that they have something good for everyone whether it be chocolate in many different forms including their large sugar free selection, coffee, caramel corn or ice cream with all freshly made in-house toppings. Good’s also gives guided tours that show how all of their products are made for only $2.00 per person with call ahead reservations to 765-642-7247 or allows self-guided tours during the week on normal business hours. However if you have a group and would like a private tour after hours they will also accommodate you with reservations.
