Bowling Green is the third most populous city in Kentucky. There is a General Motors Corvette Assembly Plant, located in Bowling Green which has been constructing all the Chevrolet Corvettes since 1981. You can see first-hand how robots weld the steel and then human workers assemble the parts together to make a Corvette. This is the only plant in US that produces the Corvette. Be sure to call ahead to confirm before you take the tour to the plant. An hour long tour includes a brief safety video, plant introduction and one mile walking tour of the assembly area. Lost River Cave & Valley is one of many attractions that draw thousands of visitors to Bowling Green, Kentucky each year. It is home to the only underground boat tour in the state of Kentucky. Nestled on the floor of the scenic valley, it cannot be seen from top. According to Ripley's Believe It or Not, the Lost River is the shortest, deepest river in the world. The first 20 minutes or so you will walk along the Lost River approaching the cave entrance and historic nightclub with your guide. Then you will board the boat for the remainder of the time.
