When a city has been around for a long time its bound to have a few good restaurants. And Brockton does, one of which is the Cape Cod Café. It has been operation since 1939, little is known of the restaurant during the starting years but in 1947 E. James Jamoulis bought out the restaurant. James created a pizza recipe, he labored hard to promote the restaurant and in the late 70’s sold the restaurant to Jim and Lynna and turned into the café it is today. The pizza however is still the same as it was in the 50’s through all the ups and down it is still the same great tasting pan pizza. The Famous Bar Pizza is the cheapest pizza on the menu coming in at 7.25 however cheapest price doesn’t mean cheaply made its filled with flavor and is the perfect food for eating while kicking back drinks at the bar. The Café is famous for their pizza but every good pizza place has a tasty calzone theirs is filled with mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomato’s and overflowing with cheese. For the meat lovers you can always add a selection of meat. Calzones are always good to feed at least two but sometimes more. The Cape Cod Café has an impressive selection of sanwhiches as well such as the classic Chicken Philly grilled chicken diced and topped with American cheese fried onions and mushrooms. Cape cod Cafe is the perfect place to bring the family and have a meal, or is a great location to bring the guys and sit down at the bar and have some cold beers and a tasty Bar Pizza.
