It doesn’t take a huge theme park to have a fun day sometimes it just takes a little Paradise. In Lee’s Summit Missouri I came across Paradise Park. In short it’s a family fun park with activities like mini golf, gem mining, arcades, foam play pit, and even a giant maze. This place is lots of fun and has something for everyone. The foam factory is perhaps one of the most popular attraction for kids. It’s a ball pit on steroids. There are air cannons that shoot foam balls across the place area. It is the perfect place for a little one birthday party kids can pick sides and spend hours shooting foam balls at one another. When they get board don’t worry there plenty of other actives for them to have fun with. Bumper cars are also a favorite. These classic cars are blown up donuts with a chair in the middle. Almost any ages are welcome just grab ahold to the two steering bars and start spinning. Just watch out it can be a bumpy ride. Don’t forget to head to the maze either. This attraction is fun for all ages and even a little scary around Halloween. Every Friday and Saturday from 6 – 10 in October the maze gets invaded with zombies. Enjoy the largest wooden maze in Missouri and Kansas with a little scary twist.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has the best rental cars in town, their cars and trucks are always new and in great condition. Its quick and easy to get started just select a location to the right.
No town is complete unless there is a baker who takes pride in his work. In town of Lee’s Summit there is LaMar’s Donuts. Not so much a bakery but a great donut shop. These aren’t the donuts you find at the local Duncan Donuts but are so much better. If you time it right you can get a batch that is still warm and the glaze melts in your mouth. I don’t know how many times I have been to LaMar’s but I can’t help myself. What’s better still is that there is more than a single LaMar’s Donuts. The Small donut shop has been so successful that they have been able to expand and turn into a very successful donut franchise. I will go to Lamar’s 10 times over before I step foot into another donut shop. This is truly a donut shop and you can tell that by the number of different verities they sell. It changes daily and seasonally however they always have the classics. There are about 35 different type of Donuts that have holes, and about another 30 that are specialties that range in knows, bizmarks, bars, fritter and even cinnamon rolls. Lamar’s is a great place to take the family before a long day on the road or a place to stop and get some donuts for the office. What ever your favorite is Lamar’s is sure to have it.
