Currier Museum of Art in Manchester Manchester is the largest city in New Hampshire. It is also the largest city in New England. When you are visiting Manchester, you can go to the Currier Museum of Art. It is an art museum featuring European and American paintings, decorative arts, photographs and sculpture. The museum’s permanent collection includes works by Picasso, Matisse, Monet, O'Keeffe, Frank Lloyd Wright and more. The museum offers a variety of public programs such as tours, live classical music and Family Days which include activities for all ages. While you are there, you can also go to nearby Zimmerman House. The museum conducts tours to the Zimmerman House, a Usonian House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is the only Wright-designed house in New England which is open for public tours. It is also one of only a few Wright buildings owned and operated by an art museum. The house features the original furnishings including the Zimmermans unique collection of modern art, pottery and sculpture. If you have little children then you can take them to SEE Science Center. It is an interactive learning center which promotes the understanding, enjoyment and achievements of science, mathematics and technology. The Hands-on exhibits cover topics such as: forces, light, sound electricity, simple machines and more. It is home to The LEGO® Millyard Project, the largest permanent LEGO® installation at mini-figure scale in the world. It displays the Manchester Mill area and surrounding downtown in the 1900s. The center host many travelling exhibits and special events throughout the year. The SEE science center also has a nice play area for younger kids.

Manchester Livingston ParkThere are plenty of thing to do in Manchester, New Hampshire. If you are travelling to Manchester with the whole family and looking for a family friendly place then you should stop by the Livingston Park, located at Daniel Webster Highway. It is a 9-hole regulation length golf course in Manchester, New Hampshire. This short layout rewards good shots and provides a fun golf outing for everyone. Opened in 1903, the golf course features 2,967 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course also includes one of the best fairways and greens in the area.
