Abbott’s Mill Nature Center offers tours to the grist mill and the rolling mill. This Greenway is a scenic walkway that connects various businesses and services with recreation areas and the Bicentennial Park. The greenway was designed to preserve city’s waterfront along the river upstream and downstream of Milford. If you enjoy touring historical places then you can also go to Parson Thorne Mansion which highlights the history of the city. The Colonial Georgian style mansion was named after Reverend Sydenham Thorne who was one of the early founders of city of Milford. Visitors can tour the Parson Thorne Mansion first Saturday and Sunday of each month between May and October. The mansion features impressive antiques and furniture from the 17th century.
