If the Symphony isn’t quite what you’re looking for food wise than don’t worry Pahrump has lots to offer. On your way back into town or through for that matter make sure you look up Mom’s Diner. While at the Vineyard we asked where else we should eat besides their restaurant it just wasn’t what we were looking for and they understood. One of the staff there pointed us to Mom’s Diner and we couldn’t have been happier. When you walk in it seems like you go back in the past. The Dinner is a thing from the past and it is absolute amazing. The service is always great and the food is downhome good. What is downhome good you might ask? Well its really had to explain, its not what you would call high class restaurant. There isn’t an endless supply of herbs and spices that go into every dish but instead the essentials to make it stand out. It’s the type of food that reminds you of your childhood and just makes your day. No type of high class food can do that. The dinner was very well kept and even the restrooms were nice. The men’s room had a bunch of car memorabilia , and my wife said the ladies room was filled with handmade cross stich. It added to the whole dinner and really was a great touch.
