Its fun to relive the past goes back to a time where Theatre wasn’t so strange and unusual. When traveling to Plymouth we took a trip to the Plymouth Play House. The Theater has been open for 38 years producing top notch productions. The theater itself is small but intimate with only 221 seats. The seats are well space so each and every guest is comfortable and have a great view. Seats are reserved and sold on a first come and first serve basic but don’t worry if you get a ticket right before the showing you will still have a great view as it is only 25 feet back from the stage. The actors all have personal microphones and there is a state of the art audio system that give them a larger voice but doesn’t distort or take away from the small personal setting. There have been many great musicals and plays at the Play House over the years and some of the most recent are “A Mighty Fortress Is Our basement” , “ Christmas on the Ranch” , and “Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash”. All of these plays are fantastic and perfectly casted. The Plymouth Playhouse has done many things over the years and one of the titles it has achieved is being “The Midwest’s Premiere Destination for Original Musical Comedy”. It’s a great destination for a night away or when traveling you can book ahead and play a nice break in your vacation.

Pizza is a part of my normal diet. It seems like I don’t go a week without having it for at least one meal. While travel I like to look out for good pizza places that create their own dough and make it from scratch the way it’s supposed to be. While in Plymouth I drop down the south shore drive and found Latuff’s Pizzeria. This local place has been voted best pizza in Plymouth and also to have great pasta, chicken, burgers, and just about anything else that you want. This is the type of restaurant that you can ask and the chef will actually try his hardest to make it work. Pizza however is Latuff’s specialty. They serve two different sizes in house a 10 inch pie and a 14 inch pie. One of their most popular dishes and the one that I love the most is Pineapple Chicken with white sauce and onions. I usually skip the onions as I’m not too fond of the smell it on my breath. The pasta Dinners that are severed are also good. They are classic Italian dishes served up the right way. The Home made lasagna is also a local favorite it’s a generous portion that will fill you up and the dinners come with garlic bread and a fresh crisp salad.
