Roswell is something else they have aliens, area 51, deserts, and good food. It’s a great little town and has some great places to eat at. One of the locals at Alien zone pointed me towards Billy Ray’s Restaurant and lounge. This is a small town café like no other the staff is friendly and perfectly suited for Billy Ray’s. They were nice and didn’t treat us as if we were from out of town. The food was also great. Everything tasted fresh and you could tell their was care in cooking every last piece. My wife got the chefs salad and she said it was very good. The lettuce was all freshly chopped and there was no brown edges. I wasn’t feeling the healthy salad so I went with a good old steak. It was a sirloin and nothing too special but it was delightfully season and cooked exactly how I requested which is rare for a restaurant let alone a café. I got it with a side of sweet potato fries which I love and they were nicely cooked and sprinkled with honey and cinnamon. Pricing was a little high for being a café but what the food costs was well worth the service.
