The wandering paths lead to the extensive shade gardens under the mature pine trees. You can stroll through the paved pathways of the gardens along the Mississippi River. The adjacent Clemens Gardens include six gardens in a formal European style with American plantings and fountains: Formal Garden, Perennial Garden, Rest Area Garden, Virginia Clemens Rose Garden and White Garden. It was developed primarily in the 1990s. This park has evolved over the years to a breathtaking place. Flower beds in the garden are well maintained. There are so many different colors of roses that you won’t believe some of them even exist. The Rose Garden has over 1,100 roses including floribundas, tree roses, hybrid teas, shrub roses, and grand floras. If you like plants, flowers, roses and simply feel integrated with this delicate corner, so this is your place. This picturesque garden with red-brick walkways is a real treat for the visitors.

Established in 1991, it is located 2.5 miles away from the St Cloud State University. You can wander along the Mississippi River or take the bike route into the downtown area. The park is manages by the St Cloud Parks Department. It has a picnic shelter, boat and canoe access and lots of parking. As you take a walk or jog around the park, you will see lots of small woodland creatures roaming around. It is also a great place for bird watching. If that’s not enough then you can also go to nearby Riverside Park. It is a great place for kids specially in Summer. It is located just walking distance away from Munsinger and Clemens Gardens directly across from the Mississippi River. The park offers a variety of fun activities for the kids including Drums Panel, Chimes Panel, Look Down Panel, Flip Flop, Tic Tac Toe, Freddy Firetruck, Deck level Tubes, Double Slides, Triple Slide and three Leg Heavy Duty Swings. The park also includes a pavilion that hosts various gatherings and event throughout the year. If you enjoy golfing then you can go to Territory Golf Club located just five minutes from Hwy 10. Originally built in 2001, this premier golf course layout features flowing elevation changes, water features, wide fairways, large greens, meandering river and natural wetlands.
