While passing through Woodbury Minnesota you should be sure to stop by the Veterans
Memorial and pay tribute to the men and women that have served our country. The people of
Woodbury came together and formed the Woodbury Lions Veterans Memorial Council who had the
Woodbury Veterans Memorial built in 2007. The memorial is filled with personalized paver’s that honor
people who have served and those that are serving. The memorial is free and open to the public. The
Veterans Memorial Council still offers the chance for you to add personalized pavers to the memorial.
So if you have a loved one who is serving or has served for $300 you can add a personalized paver
with their name in their honor. They also hold a yearly Veterans Day Ceremony on the grounds. The
Woodbury Veterans Memorial is located at 8301 Valley Creek Road west of Radio Drive on City Hall’s
campus and can be accessed from the east parking lot. This is a memorial worth stopping to see the
location could not be more beautiful so if you are in the area you owe it to our veterans who served
in the armed forces to protect what you and I have today to stop by and honor them and teach your
children about our countries hero’s and how important they are and always will be.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has the best rental cars in town, their cars and trucks are always new and in great condition. Its quick and easy to get started just select a location to the right.
After you stop by the Woodbury Veteran Memorial your next stop should be Axel’s Bonfire for
some good old southwest barbeque. There are six Axel’s Bonfire open across Minnesota all just a little
different from the rest, the one in Woodbury is known for their amazing food and authentic decorations.
Their signature items range from their Bull Bites that are blackened tenderloin tips served with

which they earned the award for the number one seller of walleye in all of Minnesota. If you’re not the
fish type and are looking for a massive burger they also have a Be Bold burger with two massive half
pound patties topped with bacon, onions, pepper, mushrooms, and four cheeses. Axel’s Bonfire is also
ideal for large parties, they have private seating for up to 35 people. They also have a full gluten free
