Baltimore City
Offering culture and economic diversity is the waterfront town located in
Chesapeake Bay. Filled with history, it is the home to Babe
Ruth, resting place of Edgar Allen Poe, and the place where the "Star
Spangle Banner" was composed. Offering many sites and attractions such as
Little Itally with a genuine Italian taste, downtown Inner Harbor with shops
and restaurants, historic naval vessels, and a water
taxi to Fort McHerry all help to define the "Charm City."
Baltimore boasts many other attractions such as the Washington Monument,
B&O Railraod Museum Stadium, and Camden Yards.

Pride of Baltimore
Sailing from 1976 to 1986, this topsail schooner was modeled after the
ships during the war of 1812. Before it sank during a storm, it was know
as the Pride of Baltimore. Sailing as an ambassador of freedom for the
State of Maryland is the replica Pride of Baltimore II. Many thrill
seekers sail this ship discovering that it is a good way to get to
know her. Special events including day and night trips are available.

Fort McHenry
During the war of 1814, the United States flag waved bravely during the battle
of Baltimore by the onslaught of Brittish Soldiers. Observing that fateful
day while the Fort stood firm was a man named Francis Scott Key. During the
battle he inspired to write a song depicting that day called the Star
Spangled.

National Aquarium
Considered one of the best aquariums in the country, visitors are allowed to
touch any of the marine life there. Locating the 7 floor Aquarium only
requires one to looking for a large glass structure on the
river. Viewing of a large tank of marine life is available upon
entering the foyer of the building. Ascend to the fourth floor and observe the
beautiful rain forest exhibit and the dough-nut shaped tank of fish. Housing
for the bottle-nose dolphins is located in the Marine Mammal's
Pavilion and sea lions frolic in the outside pools.
