Denver Zoo
The Denver
Zoo has more than 3, 500 animals which represent
about 600 species. In this zoo you will
experience polar ice caps, a tropical forest,

day. There is a exhibit called the indoor
"Tropical Discovery" where you can see sloths,
tree frogs, and a moray eel.

Water World
Water World is a fun filled water park. It has
steep slippery slide, raft rides down the "Lazy
River", and even shallow water slides for the
younger kids. There are different places to
purchase food at the park but you can also bring

Washington Park
This
park is 155 acres and is home to two formal
gardens. One of them is a replica of George
Washington's garden at Mount Vernon. In this
park you can do many different things such as
jog, walk, and cycle. You can also go fishing on
the park's two lakes or go lawn bowling, play
tennis and basketball. There is something for

Elitch Gardens
Elitch
Gardens is not just a garden, it is very much
unlike all other gardens. It has state of the

Mile Historic Park

Rock Park and Amphitheatre

park is filled with many events and shows and is
a very unique amphitheatre. It has natural
geological wonders for a more interesting look.

formations. The formations are over 250 million

Coors Field

baseball fans go to enjoy a game of baseball.
The field cost 215 million dollars to build but

50,000 people and sits on about 76 acres of
land. Due to all the fans of baseball the field

interesting seat, which is in row 20 of the
upper deck. That seat means you are exactly one
mile above sea level. |


Colorado History Museum

museum is full of photographs and artifacts that
bring the past to life. There are many different
exhibits such as "Ancient Voices" and Soldiers
on Skis". The most popular exhibit is "Colorado
Timescape" which is a 3D topographical model of

United States Mint
The United States Mint is a place where coins
are produced and gold and silver is stored. You
get to see the process of money making and most
says its very interesting and enlightening. This
