• Holocaust Memorial Center
  On December 6, 1981, the Holocaust Memorial Center was established at Maple and Drake Roads in West Bloomfield. More than one million visitors from all over the world have been welcomed by HMC. Moreover, thousands of school children have been able to speak with a survivors of the Holocaust. It's main object includes paying tribute to the men and women who throughout history, have rescued and supported their fellow human beings and to educate society on how to understand and avoid genocide in the future. Rated as #1 historical tourist attraction by the Detroit News, the HMC is the first free-institute of its kind in the United States.
