• D'Argenzio Winery

Tournament House
Once was owned by the chewing gum pioneer William Wrigley Jr.  This beautiful Italian Renaissance style mansion was built between 1906 and 1914.  After Mrs. Wrigley passed in 1958 the Wrigley family donated the house and surrounding land to the city of Pasadena with a promise to use the house as the  Tournament of Roses permanent headquarters.  Today the executive offices for the Tournament of Roses are located inside the Tournament House.  Guided walking tours are available of the 21-room, 18,500 square foot Italian Renaissance house.  Your guided tour is lead by Tournament of Roses volunteers who are very knowledgeable of the organizations 121 year history.  In addition to the architectural details of the 103 year old mansion.  The interior of the stunning house features: marble staircase and fireplaces, crystal light fixtures, ornate molded plaster ceilings, richly paneled rooms and inlaid marble floors.  Special highlights of your tour include a one of a kind Waterford rose bowl that was commissioned for the centennial of the Tournament of Roses. • La Brea Tar Pits
