The Carter Center
Commenmorating Carter's life and presidency is a large complex set in beautiful
grounds housing the Presidential library. Beginning a walk through the grounds,
the center's buildings can be view on top of several rolling hills overlooking
two lakes. Rumor has it that the Koi ponds contain spectacular fish worth quite
a bit. Sparced on the grounds are various statues given to the president to
commemorate good works. Showcasing this philanthropist is the Carter
Museum which boasts the president's childhood, marriage, career, and presidency
in the White House.

Georgia Renaissance Festival
Starting from April 14th, the Ren Fest runs through to June 3rd, 2007 and
is a recreation of a 16th century European Country providing
shopping, dining, and talk with a 1000 colorful characters. Ten
stages of music and comedy shows are set against a permanent backdrop of Tudor
homes and enchanting cottages! Browse the shops for hand-crafted treasure, root
for your favorite knight at the Joust Arena, feast on the food
from the era, and watch demos of weaving, spinning, sculpting, glass blowing,
leather crafting, interactive games and rides for all ages. Spend a family
fun-packed day in the Old Town Area, Garden Area, and the Royal area.
