    Is a must see if you thoroughly enjoy golf.  The World of Golf Hall of Fame is a first class facility where the greatest players and contributors are honored.  World Golf Hall of Fame displays historic artifacts, videos, photographs, personal memorabilia from the Hall of Fame members and interactive exhibits.  The World Golf Hall of Fame is open year round and showcases the fascinating history of golf along with some of the finest participants.  Each Fall there is an Induction Ceremony which is a must see for all golf fans and those visitors who love history.   The annual Induction Ceremony is held on an outdoor stage across from the Hall of Fame.  Inductees are welcomed by fellow Hall of Fame members in front of other members, family, friends and fans.  This ceremony is free and open to the public with limited seating. During the ceremony, inductees receive a special trophy, individual lockers in the Member Locker Room and a unique bronze plaque that is hung alongside other members on the Wall of Fame that is located in Shell Hall.  When you visit the World Golf Hall of Fame, your trip also includes a ticket to the IMAX Theater.  The 300-seat IMAX Theater is the largest in northeast Florida, the six-story high screen will make the audience feel as though they are part of the movie....   The IMAX Theater features educational & entertaining films.  The Hall of Fame has several fascinating permanent exhibits and visitors have the opportunity to  learn the history of the Hall from its roots in Pinehurst & learn what it takes to get ready for each year's induction Ceremony and much more.  Highlights of the permanent exhibits include; The Walk of Champions- surrounding Kelly Lake, this quarter mile brick walkway also known as the Walk of Champions.  Here you will see signatures of Hall of Fame members etched in granite. The Putting Course- is an 18-hole, natural grass putting course that lets you put your golf skills to the test at the home of golf's greatest players.  One round is included with your admission.  The Member Locker Room- features authentic, full size lockers one for each Hall of Fame member.  This exhibit from time to time changes displaying personal items contributed by many of the members telling stories from the members careers & their personal lives.  Items on display include: golf bags, trophies, clubs, badges and unique personal items such as baseball bats, a red sequined evening dress, cow bell, football, a Barbie doll and much more.  Another must see exhibit is the Trophy Tower- this is one of the most recognized features of the World Golf Hall of Fame.  The Trophy Tower holds a collection of the game's most prestigious treasures.  Also displayed are major championship trophies, THE PLAYERS Championship, Ryder Cupand World Golf Championship trophies and more. And Last is The Royal and Ancient Game- Visitors will learn more than five centuries of golf from its formative years in Scotland.  Visitors can walk across the life-size replica of the famous Swilcan Burn Bridge which is modeled after the original bridge which is located at the Old Course in St. Andrews, Scotland.   When you visit the World Golf Hall of Fame visitors are delighted to see the variety of amazing exhibits, you never know what you will discover around the next corner.  Everyone who enjoys golf should not miss a visit to The World Golf Hall of Fame which is located at World Golf Village in historic St. Augustine.
